Tech Gear Irony

I've brought it up before, should these characters use their hooves or mouths to hold things? Lets admit there is a reason why "real" horses aren't able to build bridges or houses. Even if horses had the brains to do such things, they would have the dexterity or the thumbs to pull it off. I mean we've seen many characters which these laws don't apply  So what would be the solution that Tech Gear would have to do?
